Punjab TET Notification 2017
The State Council of Educational Research and Training conducts PSTET Exam to recruit candidates for the teacher position. The authority conducts the Teacher Eligibility Test for selecting B.Ed. candidates to get the government and private jobs in the teaching line. Candidates who want to apply can visit the official website www.tetpunjab.com. The interested candidates can apply online for the same by visiting its official website, the online registration for the same has started and the completion date for the online submission is July 2017 whereas the exam for the Punjab TET will be conducted on August 2017. The online registration for the same has started in the month of July 2017 and the last date for application form submission is July 2017. The candidate who wants to apply for the same must check the dates for the application form submission before applying for the same. The admit card document for the same will be available online in the month of August 2017 which the candidate can download directly from the website to appear in the exam which will held in August 2017.

Punjab TET Exam Pattern 2017
The paper 1 consists various sections including Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1 & 2, Mathematics, and Environmental studies where each section has 30 questions each with 30 marks allotted for each section. Hence in total, there are 150 questions available in the paper that has 150 marks in total.
The Paper 2 covers various topics which are stated above with only difference is of the number of questions and the marking scheme. The above sections have 30 questions each with 30 marks allotted whereas the fourth section consists of 60 questions and has 60 marks allotted to the last section.
PSTET Eligibility Criteria 2017
For Primary Teacher: Candidate must have the senior secondary qualification with at least 50% marks and must be passed or appearing in the final year of the Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with NCTE.
For Elementary Stage: Candidate must have the graduation degree or diploma certificate in the field f elementary education as well as Bachelor in Education.
For paper 1 and 2, the candidate who belongs to the general category has to pay 600INR as the application fees whereas for Both Paper 1 and 2, the application fees is 1200INR whereas the reserved category candidate has to pay 300INR as the application fees for either paper1 and paper 2 whereas, for both the papers Paper 1 and 2, the application fees is 600INR.
Candidate must pay the application fees via depositing cash in the Axis bank or by an online payment mode via credit and debit card or by net banking.
To select the candidate, the authority will conduct the written exam whereas the entire classification will be done on the basis of the qualifying marks that the candidates score in Punjab TET.
